Mission Statement
Art For Rural America (AFRA) enriches the quality of life for all citizens living in rural communities through artistic, cultural, and sustainable educational programming. AFRA is an organization comprised of community-minded individuals working together to bring the benefits of creativity to people of all age groups, nationalities, and economic conditions living in rural America.

We are a grassroots Wellsville-based nonprofit in Wellsville, NY. Our main project has been revitalizing an abandoned lot on Main Street in Wellsville into a public garden and community center called the Fassett GreenSpace.
